MSNI Field Hospital Medical Treatment Facility

Concept: After the first responders depart, the need for medical treatment facilities becomes critical. The MSNI Field Hospital has been designed to meet the short term and long term needs of Haiti.

The MSNIFH: Can be deployed to meet both short term and long term medical treatment needs.

Some of the key features are ..

Quick set-up in any type of terrain. An installation team is provided.
Medical equipment/supplies, a water filtration/purification system, and a sanitation system, are included.
It is completely portable. It can be moved to serve rural areas as normal healthcare capabilities are restored to urban communities. ( Or it can be converted to a new community medical clinic.)
The initial facility may be enhanced with modular/portable units (add ons) to provide specialized services such as multiple surgical suites, post surgical wards/housing, diagnostics (x-ray, ultrasonography, blood lab), obstetrics, critical care, pharmaceuticals, and orthopedics.

The MSNI Field Hospital. The field hospital is a facility built with lightweight modular construction that can be containerized for turn-key, on-site assembly. Additional containers would house all the immediately necessary equipment, medical supplies, and basic medicines ( prepared readiness standard), water purification, sanitary disposal capabilities, electrical generation and communications system..

Easy On-Site Assembly

Our Containers hold everything you need to erect a fully functional facility.

Simply hook to any water supply, electrical supply and if required, septic holding tanks.

Units are able to be taken down as easily as they are assembled and moved to new locations.

Multiple units can be easily combined to provide much larger facilities.

Typical starter unit 20’ x 30’.

Can easily be combined into 40’ wide units.

You determine the length.

Everything needed to assemble the units are in each container, including all tools and easy to follow instructions.

Meet Our Typical Unit

Easily deployed pier system to hold each building. Easy to level with adjustable beam brackets. Whole structure is anchored to be ready for high wind Field Hospital .

Fully Modular Construction

Floor are in 10 Pre-assembled modules for shipping. Bolted together on site with 36 bolts, to provide a 20’ x 30’ base for one building ( Our suggested unit has 2 put together)

Easy to Follow Instructions

After the pier and joist system is put in place, ¾” decking is installed. Floor is rated as a public meeting area allowing for 100 lb per sf live loads and 25 lb per sf dead loads.

Floor panels are numbered to allow for ease of installation.

Instructions supplied in many common languages.

Closed Wall Systems

All walls are completely pre-fabricated with all wiring and fixtures in place.

Walls are also pre-insulated to maintain temperature.

Wall materials do not need to be finished and are extremely durable, waterproof, and fire resistant.

Windows are pre-installed with a fixed screen which is a security screen. The screen cuts down heat and UV rays and is a high impact projectile protection system.

Buildings come with 5’ wide double doors front and rear, all door hardware is included.

Every Unit Comes Complete

All flooring, hardware, plumbing & electrical is included.

Truss system and metal roof included.

Floor and ceiling insulation included.

A/C units are stand alone and hang on a wall panel that has been prepared for them. Once mounted units are complete, connect power and they are ready to go.

All plumbing supplies come with the building for both water and sewage hookups

Easy to Install Trim & Amenities

All flooring is supplied as an easy to install tile system.

Surface paint for inside and outside supplied to cover all cracks and crevices to prevent any buildup that could affect health and safety on units for food and medical uses.

Stairs supplied for front and rear.

Special exhaust system to help with high humidity.

What’s in a Typical Building

Medical Use Building

Complete structure made of prefabricated wood decking and wood walls. Special wall board made for durability is part of every building built.

Functional windows for air flow if needed, each with a protective stainless steel screen. Each building of this type has 10 – 8’ double light fixtures and a total off 22 double plugs, 16 - 110 volt, 6 - 220 volt.

Power panel comes completely installed with outside pigtail to hook up to available power.

Medical buildings have 3 stainless steel deep sinks with proper paddle handle faucets and all supplies necessary to hook to water and sewage system.

2 A/C units ‘Bard’ brand to allow for a 65 degree medical temperature.

Ceiling is covered by same durable material as walls which prevents damage and will not deteriorate if it gets wet.

Building is fully secured to withstand winds of 120mph.

Field Hospital

Rapid Response Building Systems Rapid-1 20 x 30 Panelized Building ( TWO PUT TOGETHER) 40ftx60ft

Rapid-1 is a 20 x 30 panelized building covered on all wall surfaces with “MagBoard”. Floor is ¾” sheathing over 2x10 joist & pier system with a water base epoxy coating. Ceiling Is covered in same MagBoard as walls. Unit comes With 2 5’ wide double doors and stairs. 4 each 4x3 sliding windows and 3 3x3 sliding windows. All windows are protected by stainless screening for both security and hurricane protection. Unit is fully wired with 16 - 120 double outlets & 6 - 220 double outlets. Lighting provide by 10 8’ florescent lights. Come with 3 typical deep stainless sinks for hand washing all plumbing included. 2 floor drains will be installed. Unit has all water and sewage lines in the container. Mono truss system provided with 5v crimp metal roof. 2 large self contained wall mounted A/C units with a spare provided. All trim, fasteners, an ancillary hardware provide to completely erect the building. All walls ceilings and floors are fully insulated. 2 generators provided to supply power, one is a backup. 500 gallon water reservoir included. All outside connections for sewage is responsibility of user. Unit is fully anchored for hurricane protection.
