I went to Colorado two times: December 6th - 10th with all the other exchange students to Breckenridge, and in the beginning of January with my host parents and another family (they have two sons). Both times it was a lot of fun, there was plenty of snow!

But the trip with the other exchange students was kind of cooler, because there were so many of us and we could exchange our experiences about the U.S. We drove by bus, so it took about 15 hours to get there. We spent the time on the bus with talking, watching movies on these very small screens, or just trying to sleep. Many of us hadn't skied before, but there were also people who had (like Flo from Germany and Wendy from Czech Republic,) so I went snowboarding with them.

All told it was an awesome trip and we all contracted some new friendships and had a great time.

When I got home from this trip, Oklahoma was covered with ice (because of an huge ice storm). So my host family and I were living without power for 4 days, so we stayed the night at my host dad's house (because they had power). I had never seen something like that before, because we don't have these kind of storms in Europe. Everything was frozen, and trees were breaking down because of the weight of the ice. But it was nice, we didn't have to go to school.

The trip to Crested Butte (CO) with my host parents in the beginning of January was neat too, although we only stayed for three days. But it was wonderful and I'm really happy that I got the possibility to get out of Oklahoma and see some snow! :]

I talked to many people on the chairlifts and they all really liked to talk to me and learn some stuff about what I'm doing here, and what I think about the people...

Maybe I'll try to go studying in Colorado when I'm at college/university...

How was your travel to the USA?
It was okay, I travelled with Stefanie. We had to wait in Atlanta for about 3 hours because of delayed flights...

Am I starting to feel at home with ,my new host families?
Yes, I do. And I've got used to this way of life slowly..

Have I been to a rotary meeting yet?
Yes, I've been at two meetings yet

Have I met with my Rotarian counselor? Yes, I have. I've already gave him a present :)

What activities or sports do I enjoy?  I'm in the football team of our school, so we have practice every day after school.
