I had a wonderful Spring Break, the weather was wonderful. The cliché of the Spring Break in other countries is Florida, nice weather and pool paries. But it wasn’t that warm, actually.

The last weekend of my break we had the RYLA leader camp. It was so much fun meeting new people and learning new things such as climbing. We had a full program that was very well planned. The little “events” we had were so much fun.

We had a talent show where the other swiss exchange student and I rapped, in swiss german!=) It was so much fun, even if noone understood a word.

I live with my best friend from school, we have a great time together. I feel like having the sister I never had before! Love it.

The last quarter at school began and the end is coming close. But I don’t want to think about that yet, I want to enjoy it in the U.S. and spend as much time as possible with my american friends.

we had a whole school week off because of a really heavy ice storm
right before christmas. our whole neighberhood didn't have any power
so I went over to my friends house who had electricity with seven
friends and we stayed there for the whole week. it was so much fun!

over christmas I was with my host family and we had a wonderful and
peaceful time together. we went to church and had a nice dinner the
25th.

my school is awesome, the third quarter already started! I'm taking
french 5, moral themes, acting and pottery. I really enjoy going to
school where I made lots of new friends.
9/12/2007 4:44 PM I like my new home very much and I'm so glad to be in a nice and openminded family. I have a great time here and enjoy it very much.
m hometown is appenzell in switzerland with a population of 7000... that's pretty small! I like the city much better and that's why I love it in tulsa!

I have an older brother in switzerland and love it to have a little sister in my new host family=) we love to spend some time together. a brother is very different...

my travel was very long because my flight was deleted in atlanta, so I had to wait 7 hours there!!!and I was so exhausted...

I've been at a rotary meeting twice and it's very interesting to meet the rotarians...I've already met my third host father there!

school is going good, i play volleyball in my 4th block... the  whole schedule is very different to the school system in switzerland. the classes here are a way to long (90 min, in europe it's 45min). I've made a lot of new friends, at the weekends I'm always busy=)

I spent some time with my couselor, joanie and she's so great! I went to dinner with her and next week she'll take me to a football game with her son. I'm very excited!
bye,
sincerely, stefanie
